Anita Wong Shares Prize Money with Fellow MHK Contestants

The sixteen Miss Hong Kong finalists were at the Tsimshatsui branch of Sasa Cosmetics where they had a quiz on Perfume knowledge. Number 6 Anita Wong emerged as the winner of the competition and was awarded with a $5000 cosmetics voucher for Sasa, but she showed her generosity as she shared her prize with the other contestants, with the other girls in her team receiving $500 each and the other girls $100 each.

'Mature Ting Ting' Number 9 Grace Wong has been spotted out partying late and hugging male friends and she admits this, saying: "That was two months ago and my friends from France and America came to visit me, so we went down to Lan Kwai Fong. My friends were very gentlemanly and when they saw a seat in the venue, they pointed and then helped me to my seat. (Have you been warned by the competition?) No, I was not being unruly and just showing hospitality towards my friends.

Number 2 Lily Ho has been dubbed as hot favourite by netizens and she says she has been busy rehearsing and not had time to go online, but she thanks everyone for their support and will do her best.

Reports indicate that there will be a 'Catwalk in the Air' for this year's final and the girls will be hoisted on wires up to a platform 30 feet high for part of the show. TVB has been testing the girls' senses of balance to make sure they can do it. Kate Tsui and Raymond Lam will also be performing at the final, in a Broadway musical number. Kate says: "I will be dancing with all my juniors at the Coliseum and I am a little nervous. (Are your costumes sexy?) I don't know yet." Miss Photogenic judges have been confirmed as Mike He, Moses Chan and Charlie Yeung.

Fala Chen Wants to do a Tampon Ad

Fala Chen, Mandy Cho, Niki Chow and Angela Tong attended the press event for the "TVB Most Popular Advertisements Awards 2007" and Fala hopes to have more chances to make money in ads and does not mind doing tampon ads. Asked if her rumoured boyfriend Neway heir will ask her to do their ads, she says: "No, but if the company approves, then she will still do it for the standard fee with no discount!"

Mandy wore a 3 carat diamond ring, which was very eye-catching and asked if it was a gift from her boyfriend, she immediately avoided talking about her relationship. Angela has been busy filming for "Cold Encounters of the Third Kind" recently, so she has been suffering from lack of sleep and refers to herself as 'Panda Angela'. She will also have to start rehearsing a dance to take part in a competition and she says: "I have asked the choreographer to find me someone handsome to partner me, that makes dance more interesting."

Wai Ying Hung Injured During Filming

Kara Hui (Wai Ying Hung) was filming at Yuen Long's Tai Tong for TVB series "Steel Lips Silver Teeth" yesterday when she was knocked on the waist by a pipe and suffered extreme pain, which resulted in her being taken to hospital in an ambulance.

During the filming, the special effects team had to support a high pressure air pipe, but when one of them lost grip, the tube shot forward and hit Kara in the lower back. Fortunately after an x-ray, it was confirmed that she was fine and her spine had not been displaced. After leaving hospital, Kara headed home to rest and said: "I am feeling comforted that there are no cracks in my spine, because when I was it, it hurt so much that I was crying and my legs went numb. The swelling has made my waist bigger than my bum." She also admits being unlucky: "I was standing about 5 foot away, but when they dropped it, it hit me. (Were the crew afraid?) At the time I was in so much pain that I fell down, so I don't know. It was an accident and the producer has been very good and does not need me to return to film this evening. After a rest, I should be back at work on the 7th." Producer Tong Kei Ming has checked on Kara and is pleased she is not seriously injured.

Mike He Fever Hits Hong Kong Again

Taiwanese popular idol Mike He arrived in Hong Kong yesterday to promote his TV drama "Marry Me", which will soon be airing on TVB Pay Vision. Wearing a cap, jeans and a t-shirt, he was met at the airport by over a hundred fans. After the lessons learned by TVB after the arrival of Wu Jun last time, 30 security staff were sent out to protect Mike, forming a human wall around him.

However, the fans were still as eager as ever to get close and as they pushed towards him, he did try to shake as many hands as he could. Mike also went on to warn them to be careful, but some fans did fall over in the chaos. After waving to everyone, Mike gave a big thumbs up before leaving in a company vehicle, which was soon pursued by three minibuses full of fans. Not wanting to disappoint them, Mike drew back the curtains to wave at them.

At around lunchtime, Mike met his fans officially at a special gathering, where he addressed them in his broken Cantonese, saying: "Hello to my friends in Hong Kong, I am Mike He." As fans presented him with gifts of a belt, flowers and cards, Mike returned the favour by selecting three lucky fans to receive his hand-made cookies and also handed out five signed copies of his book.

Mike was very excited by his fans admiration, but was also concerned about them being injured in the confusion. Asked what memorable moments he had whilst filming "Marry Me", he says that he had to dress up as a woman for the show, wearing a dress and tights and even having to put on a woman's voice, so he was quite embarrassed. His role in the show is of a star who ignores the advice of others and marries his girlfriend, but he says he will not do this in real life. Mike will be back in Hong Kong on 21st July to be the Miss Photogenic judge in the Miss Hong Kong pageant and asked what standards he will be working to, he says that they need to have attractiveness and appeal on the screen. Mike will be returning to Taiwan tomorrow to continue with his filming.

Bosco Causes Embarrassment for Sharon at "Devil's Disciple" Promotion

TVB Series "Devil's Disciple" held a promotional event at a swimming pool yesterday, but the girls were all well covered in t-shirts, losing some of its appeal factor. However, Sharon Chan caused a few stirs when she was pushed straight onto Wong Chun Tong's face!

Many of TVB's female stars have been doing bikini shows of late, but at the promotion yesterday, TVB decided to save their sexiness for a paying customer and instructed everyone to wear the promotional t-shirts. Bernice Liu, Shirley Yeung and Sharon had their swimsuits covered by their t-shirts most of the time and Shirley only appeared briefly in her swimsuit when she forgot to put her t-shirt on at the beginning.

Shirley and Bernice decided to stay on the poolside, saying that they could not swim and Shirley says: "They told us to wear the t-shirts, but it is all to promote the series." Although Sharon's bikini was of no use, she still put her all into the games in the water, but thanks to a push from Bosco Wong, she lost her balance and ended up sitting on Wong Chun Tong's face. She says: "I have to apologise to Brother Tong because he won't be able to gamble for a week after I have sat on him for so long!" As for the culprit Bosco, he smiles that he had to get a girl in the water to satisfy the media.

Having just returned from a show in Canada, Bernice indicates that after Yumiko Cheng's incident, the organisers have become very careful and warned her to make sure she was protected. "When I arrived, they immediately asked me if I had any underclothes on and told me that I had to put some one. So I wore trousers. When an Auntie put her hand out to pat me on the chest, the security team were immediately on alert."

Miss Hong Kong Visit Jewellery Sponsors

The sixteen Miss Hong Kong contestants visited the jewellery sponsors to try on some diamonds yesterday, but the items they were given to wear varied between the girls. Number 2 Lily Ho and Number 1 Joey Mak modelled the most expensive and the least expensive items, valued at $1.28 million and $90,000 respectively. Joey said that this was down to the organisers to match their outfits, so she did not mind. As for Lily, she did not feel especially fortunate, saying: "Everyone looks beautiful with their jewels."

The girls voted for the "Contestant Most Suited to Wearing Jewellery" and Number 12 Nicole Lee won the vote and was presented with a set of jewellery worth $6000. She said happily: "I have never worked before, so I have never had a set of jewellery like this, so this is my first time and I will cherish this greatly."

Leila Tong Pulls Gun on Simon Lo

Simon Lo and Leila Tong worked on the final dress rehearsal for their stage drama "Popcorn" earlier, where they share many passionate scenes, in which Leila, dressed in a sexy evening dress, would lean over Simon, play with a silk scarf, push up her rear and brush herself against him. The most daring scene is one where Simon tries to grab her breasts, but Leila pulls out a gun to stop him and then forces him to lick her toes.

As this show will be playing over a total of 12 performances from now until 14th, Leila and Simon will be kissing for all of the 12 shows: "There is no feeling, because we are very comfortable throughout the performance and when you are absorbed into the character, you will not care. (Are you not afraid of revealing yourself?) I have taken all the precautions." Asked if she is worried about her cursing in the show affecting her image? She says: "This is a new venture for me and those who like me will know what is real and what is not." With her stage debut being so risque, she says that she is very attracted to the storyline: "I really like the whole theatre process and working with such a big team is very happy. (Will you invite your rumoured boyfriend Wing to watch?) I haven't thought about it, I have left the invitations to my manager to arrange."

Raymond Lam Surprised at No Rumours

Raymond Lam has always been a hit with the ladies and in new series "The Drive of Life", his character is split between the affections of Charmaine Sheh and Myolie Wu and although he is dumped by Charmaine in the end, he still has plenty of intimate scenes with her. Before filming, there was concern over rumours that would arise between him and the ladies, but in the end Myolie became linked with mainland's 'Daniel Wu' Feng Shao Feng and there was no sign of anything with Raymond. He laughs: "I am very surprised that nothing happened! Maybe because I have a scapegoat! That is good - haha!"

As for the suggestions that TVB has succumbed to 'veteran-mania', so the focus has been placed on Damian Lau and Michael Miu, Raymond says: "The show is being aired on CCTV and they had to provide the script in advance, so everything was confirmed before and the company will not set about changing things."

Natalie Tong Matures in Age and Talent

In new series "The Green Grass of Home", Natalie Tong's diving scene is very memorable and you would never tell that she cannot swim! As for the praises that her acting has improved, she reveals that it was not "Green" that made her grow up after all: "Actually, my turning point was 'The Seventh Day', which is yet to be aired. Due to the storyline, I had to grow up and be more mature and I truly felt that the role was no longer just a young girl." Natalie took this newfound maturity to her character in "Green" and has shown everyone the improvement in her acting. She feels that her technique is now very different from before.

Affected by Rumours Yoyo and Vin May be Kicked off "Best Selling Secrets"?

With the recent rumours surrounding Yoyo Chen and Vin Choi, there are reports that TVB has taken steps to protect their image by arranging for their characters to be written out of sitcom "Best Selling Secrets" as Yoyo's 'Kawaii' will be going to Japan and Vin's character will be sent to university abroad. Wayne Lai will be called into the cast on a full time basis to expand on a separate storyline and fill the void. In response to this, Yoyo's manager says: "We have not received notice of this yet."

The series has not pulled in the desired audiences since its release and with the effects of recent news, it seems that TVB will be ending the series at 120 episodes, 100 down on predecessor 'Welcome to the House'.

Alvina Kong was asked about these reports yesterday and she says: "Initial discussions with Catherine (Tsang - Producer) resulted in the show being provisionally 120 episodes, if they continue, then the company will let us know next month. As TVB is now filming in HD, then there are a lot of technical issues to deal with and I have not received any notice yet.(Are the rumoured couple being dropped?) I don't know, when there is no news, you say there is no news, but when there is news, then this might even raise the ratings!"

Bobby Helps the Girls Out in Exchange for Food

Currently busy filming for "Cold Encounters of the Third Kind", Toby Leung has fully recovered from her earlier illness and is back on set, filming on location with Bobby and having a lot of fun.

In the show, Bobby and Toby play a couple and she has learned a lot from such an experienced veteran. However, the best thing is that there is always laughter on the set, saying it makes her feel healthier physically and mentally. Bobby is also full of praises for Toby, showing his admiration for her having to write phonetics in English all over her scripts, so when he can, he will help her out: "Angela Tong is the same, so when I help them and they become more relaxed, then I can eat whatever I want! But I daren't do that with the girls."

Bosco's Reputation Precedes Him - Vivien Keeps her Distance, Bernice says No Sparks

Vivien Yeo took part in the 'July Stars Birthdays' celebration yesterday and her wish for her 23rd birthday is not to have any rumours with Bosco Wong. "In the series 'War of In-Laws 2007', I have a romance with Bosco and Myolie is in the show too, so I don't want things to affect our relationship!"

For Bernice Liu, when she was filming for "Devil's Disciple" with Bosco, he openly picked up her lunch box for her and there were rumours of sparks between them. To this day, Bernice still finds this very funny: "It is very normal to help your colleague get lunch, there is nothing unusual. However, it is good publicity for the show."

It was not just rumours that she attracted whilst filming for "Devil's Disciple", but also the mosquitoes, leaving her with over a hundred bites all over her body that were red and swollen: "I was being bitten all the time and even after putting repellant on, it was useless. Even with my ancient costume on, the mosquitoes still found a way in and I cannot bear the itchiness. Every time I was bitten, I had to scratch and it was hard work."

Tavia Yeung Cooks in the Rain

Tavia Yeung was promoting some home electricals at Ocean Park yesterday, when it suddenly started raining heavily and she had to rely on a member of the crew to help her hold her umbrella whilst she continued cooking. She was also worried about slipping on the stage, so she was very careful, saying afterwards: "This is the first time I have attended such an event in such heavy rain and I had to be very careful. It would be terrible to fall over at Ocean Park!" She also reveals that she is currently learning to cook so that she does not just have to depend on her looks to secure her future marriage and be able to win her man with her culinary skills too.

At another event, Shirley Yeung was promoting a shampoo product and she revealed that she will soon be taking part in promotional activity for "Devil's Disciple" at a swimming pool and asked if she would be wearing a bikini, she says: "I will wear a swimsuit, but I am still looking for it. The most important thing is to look healthy and be safe."

Tracy Ip is Prepared to Donate Kidney to Mother

There have been reports that Tracy Ip's mother is seriously ill and needs a kidney transplant and asked about this yesterday, Tracy did not talk about her mother's condition in detail, but was a little teary as she indicated she was prepared to donate a kidney to help her mother: "I just hope for a miracle to appear."

Working at TVB City yesterday, Tracy said with some tears in her eyes: "My mother found out about her condition over a month ago, I will not go into details, but I hope for a miracle to appear. (Are you planning to donate your kidney to her?) I do want to do this, but it depends on the test results and whether it is suitable for her. If it is a match, then I will do it. Although the doctor says that there is additional danger for the live donor and my mother is worried that the operation will leave a scar and will mean I am in hospital for several months, but I cannot bear for my mother to be in pain."

As for the suggestions that she has been 'selling her flesh' to raise money for her mother's medical fees, Tracy says that she had not discussed her mother's condition before and this is not related. As for the medical fees, Tracy says: "I do not know yet, but for my mother, I will do my best." Reports indicate that TVB plan to send Tracy to the Mainland to do some special reports related to the Olympics and she says she is happy that the company are giving her the opportunity, so she will do her homework and put her all into it. For the sake of her mother, she will work hard.

"Young Four Constables" Costume Fitting

TVB Series "Young Four Constables" held its costume fitting yesterday, attended by three of the four constables - Sammul Chan, Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma. The fourth, Ron Ng is currently filming in the mainland, so he could not take part. Other cast members present include Dominic Lam, Kate Tsui and Selena Li.

With four of TVB's leading males in the same show, is Sammul worried about comparisons being made? He smiles: "I am the trainee leading male, still in training, so I dare not compare myself with all these seniors!" As for the rumours he has had with Ron Ng, is he worried about the report? He laughs: "Don't be silly! We have worked together so many times, so there won't be any more rumours. (Maybe they will say you have new developments?) I will not appear downstairs from his apartment and will not go and eat with him. As colleagues, we will only meet when we are in a group."

Raymond will be appearing in a wheelchair for this series, being pushed around by two large men. Everyone is envious of him not having to fight in this show. Asked if he feels he has been spoilt by the company, he says: "Of course not, you can just say this is a new experience for me, but being unable to use movement will make it more challenging for my skills. Also, I am worried about getting haemorrhoids from sitting around all the time, so I will add a cushion to the chair." He also plans to lose a few pounds to make it easier for the two men who have to push him. Kenneth says that their characters are all very different, so there is no worry about them being compared. He is more worried about his fighting scenes because he has not filmed many fighting series and to avoid making a fool of himself, he will be taking kung fu classes.

Selena will be playing a female fighter in the show and in a change to her usually fragile roles, she will be playing an obstinate girl who has a romance with Kenneth. She says that this is a new experience for her. As for the show being filmed on location in Yunnan, she says she has already been there before whilst filming "Tai Chi Master" and as it was winter and very dry there at the time, she had to use some 'over-50's' moisture cream. She hopes it will be better this time filming in the autumn. Her weapon in the show will be the leather whip and to avoid injuring herself, she will be taking lessons from the martial arts master from next week.

Kate will be playing a female doctor in the show and paired with Raymond. Talking of Raymond often being linked in rumours with his co-stars, she smiles: "He does have a lot of rumours, but not with me. (Maybe this time it is your turn?) You don't need to hold back! (Do you have kiss scenes?) He is in a wheelchair, so it will be limiting."

Myolie Wu Turns Jackie Chan in Tsimshatsui

Myolie Wu was filming yesterday in Tsimshatsui East behind the Science Museum for "War of In-Laws 2007", where she was dressed in a WPC uniform and in order to help a little girl rescue her doll, she turned into Jackie Chan and jumped over a trolley before jumping through a picture and then cartwheeling over a bicycle. However, all the stunts were done by a stunt double and Myolie just had to shoot a couple of close-up shots and some simple moves. As the weather was very hot, it was hard work for everyone.

Myolie's body double for the day was TVB's only female stuntperson, who started as a dancer, explaining her agility and fluidity. Myolie says: "When I see her, I am very happy because she makes the scene very beautiful when she is your double." Although Myolie's moves were not as dangerous or difficult as that of the stunt double, she was still sweating a lot after doing a few takes of her sliding on a board and in between takes, she pulled out a little fan to cool down and avoid her make-up melting. Asked if it is harder work than filming an ancient drama, she smiles: "They are both difficult. Take for example a scene earlier where I had to carry Liza Wang - when I returned home afterwards, I did not even have the strength to hold my toothbrush and brush my teeth. My muscles had become very stiff, so the action shots in the studio have been even harder."

Whilst waiting for her scene, Joyce Tang did a bit of window shopping in TST. In the show, she plays Liza's assistant and she admits she has been a little nervous about working with Liza for the first time, but it is very challenging. Asked if she has been scolded by Liza, she says: "No, if no-one does anything wrong then she will not scold anyone. We are very self-regulating. (Is Liza making food for you all to eat?) She actually takes us out to eat and also emails us photos that she has taken of us during filming."

Nancy Wu Has No Awkwardness Meeting Deep's New Love

Nancy Wu was the guest at an eating competition yesterday, where Leung Si Ho was the MC. The contestants had to eat as many bowls of Char Siu Rice as they could within ten minutes and some of them made themselves sick. In the end, the reigning winner Johnny Wu kept his title, eating 12 and a half bowls of rice. Nancy herself is a big fan of Char Siu and Roast Goose.

Nancy attended the funeral of Deep Ng's mother earlier, but there were reports that she avoided her ex-boyfriend throughout the ceremony and acted like strangers. Nancy says that although she has split up with Deep, their relationship is not as bad as the reports make out and she does know the family quite well, so seeing his father so upset, she did offer words of comfort to Deep and telling him to 'hang on'. Nancy also met Deep's current girlfriend model Jacqueline Chong and when asked whether she felt awkward, she asked in reply: "Why would I feel awkward?"

Charmaine Sheh Joins 10th Anniversary Celebrations

Charmaine Sheh was the guest judge at a children's art competition to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Hong Kong's Return, where she was joined by 39 people who were born in 1997, who were asked to draw their most beautiful cake to celebrate Hong Kong SAR's 10th Birthday.

Charmaine admired the children's talent and she indicated that she loves children and drawing and even won a certificate in a drawing competition when she was young, but she is too busy now to take up art. She does plan to learn brush calligraphy though because it is very calming and makes her feel very peaceful, giving her a space of her own. She says: "I don't have time at the moment, but I will definitely take it up."

Charmaine entered Miss Hong Kong in 1997 and says that this was a huge decision for her. She smiles: "At the time, my mother told me to enter, so I just did what she told me to. As for the biggest change over the last ten years, it is that a lot of people know me now and I have found a job that I truly love - acting. At the same time, my dreams have been fulfilled by the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, so I don't need to fly to another place for it and I feel very proud about this."

As for the next ten years, what wishes does Charmaine have? She says: "I hope that Hong Kong's economy will get even better and I will film more good series. (You love childre, will you have some of your own?) Children nowadays are very smart and you have to give them 100% love to reap rewards. You have to be by their side for them to grow up healthily, but I want to continue acting and not give up my wages for people to look after them, so I don't want to have kids just yet. (Have you planned when you want to have children?) You cannot plan these things, just as I hoped in the past to get married at 27 and have kids at 30, but the deadlines have passed and so I will leave the rest to fate. (What about a lightning marriage?) I feel that it is all in the plan and when it is time, I will enter the next phase of my life, but if I do meet this person, then it will be a happy thing."

Bosco Wong Describes Rumours as 'Chaotic'

Bosco Wong, Selena Li and Macy Chan attended the "Hong Kong Return Cup Charity Football Fiesta" event yesterday, where they joined the public to watch the special match between Germany's Bayern Munich and Brazil's Sao Paolo. On the 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China yesterday, Bosco was asked about the last ten years and he feels that he has had a great transformation. Although he had not entered the industry ten years ago and was still a student, the last seven years has brought him the chance to film a lot of series. In one year, he shot 150-160 episodes and even Kevin Cheng has said that is amazing.

Bosco admits that he has not stopped since entering showbiz and has not had a chance to take a vacation. Of course, his income has increased and his favourite series has been "War of In-Laws". However, Bosco's rumours in the last few years have also been interesting and he laughs that he can only describe it as 'chaotic'. He hopes that in the next ten years, there will be fewer rumours and only reports that are true. At the same time, he hopes that in the next ten years, he can buy a 1000 foot luxury home. He is still a little way off though as he has only saved enough for a 10% deposit so far.

Selena does not watch much football and preferred basketball when she was younger, but was once hit by a ball, which broke her nose, leaving her with a small dent in her nose. However, she will not have it fixed because she is afraid that it will not turn out right and she finds the process of surgery terrifying.

Fala Chen Watches Match for Handsome Footballers

Fala Chen and Kenneth Ma joined the public at a Tseung Kwan O shopping mall yesterday to watch the 10th Anniversary Football Fiesta. This is the first time that Fala has joined in with football commentary and as she is not very accustomed to the world of soccer, she just tagged along with the others. Fala says that when she lived abroadh, she liked to watch basketball rather than football. She feels that you have to be in a big group to watch football, but she does not know which team to support, so she just goes for the handsome footballers and her favourite is Beckham.

Kenneth is a huge football fan and has been tuning in since he was in Form 3, but he does not bet. With very little gossip, Kenneth has been rumoured recently to have fallen out with Kate Tsui during their filming for "Background Master" and not even acknowledging her birthday. Kenneth denies this and says that they do chat and laugh all the time. He smiles that he has had rumours with Kate before and laughs: "I have been courting her for a long time, but even after three series, I have not been successful." Asked if he is afraid of having his ears pulled, he immediately acted dumb and asked the reporters who would pull his ears.

Tavia Yeung Wants Football Fan Boyfriend

Tavia Yeung was joined by Matthew Ko at a Shopping Mall event for the Football Fiesta, but it turns out that they are both outsiders when it comes to football. Matthew says he has only just started watching football in the last couple of years.

Tavia indicates that she does like to join her friends to watch football matches, but just for the company. She likes to watch the handsome footballers such as Beckham, but as she always has a lot of questions about the match, her friends find her tiresome and she has to wait until after the match to ask. Therefore, she hopes to find a boyfriend who is knowledgeable about football. Does her boyfriend like football? Tavia just laughs that her male friends like to watch football. As for her own interests, she likes to play badminton and volleyball, but when she used to play, she just wanted to get close to her senior male classmates. However, nothing came of it apart from a signature in her yearbook.

Matthew liked to watch basketball when he was in Canada and only started watching soccer when he arrived in Hong Kong. He has been busy filming recently for "Background Master", where he has a bed scene with Kenneth Ma, who goes on to touch his chest. He laughs that his 'first time' has been given to Kenneth, but fortunately he was not too embarrassed because they have become good friends from this series. He also reveals that he will be taking part in a dance show for Hunan Television shortly, so he has been busy rehearsing his latin dance.

Shirley Yeung is Not Really a Football Fan

Shirley Yeung and Patrick Tang were the celebrity guests who joined the public at Ma On Shan to watch the match for yesterday's Football Fiesta marking Hong Kong SAR's 10th Anniversary. Shirley does not watch much football, but will tune into the World Cup once every four years.

Shirley knows that there are a lot of girls nowadays who like to watch football, but she is not too interested. However, she does like Beckham and Owen because they are handsome and stylish. She has a deep impression of Zidane and misses him after his retirement. Asked if she bets on games, she says she does not. Her father is not really a football fan either and does not watch every match. Will she watch it with her boyfriend? Shirley says: "I don't know, ask him!"

Shirley has accepted a role in a movie where she has to dance and she is currently taking lessons from Chow Chi Kwan. Shirley hopes that after completion of her lessons, she will have more chances to dance. Asked if she is worried about close contact when dancing, Shirley says that when you are dancing you do not think too much and just want to perform to your best and look your best. Of course you have to have a good chemistry with your partner.

Suki Chui Joins Celebrations with Acrobats

Suki Chui took part in a celebratory event yesterday where she was joined by some acrobats and attracted quite an audience. As well as learning some of the skills, Suki also performed a song in public for the first time and says that she woke up early to prepare her voice. Asked if she was confident about her singing, she smiled: "I will do my best."

Suki says that doing the acrobatics was not easy and she hopes to try flying through the air one day. She says: "I like the feeling of swinging and flying." Wearing a strappy dress at the event, Suki was wary of Yumiko Cheng's earlier accident and has taken safety precautions, covering herself with tape.

Suki also took part in an event in Taipo earlier and watched fireworks for the first time. She was very pleased that the public are starting to recognise her. She says: "The atmosphere was very good and this is the first time I have watched fireworks in person and smelt the gunpowder. The happiest thing was for people to call me by my character name in 'The Green Grass of Home' - Yoyo. I never imagined that the power of series was so great."
