Myolie Wu Sells Charity Rice

As ambassador for the charity Oxfam, Myolie Wu attended the opening of their charity rice selling event yesterday. When MC Ellesmere Choy introduced her onto the stage, he misused an expression for 'someone who is attached', and referred to her in the male form and when she heard this, Myolie jokingly turned to him and asked: "Why are you saying I am a man?"

Afterwards, Myolie explained that she didn't mind Ellesmere joking about her rumours, but she just wanted to tell him that he had used the wrong expression. Myolie says that in order to raise more money for Oxfam, she has donated her hats and scarves to be auctioned and this raised $9600. She says happily: "At first I was worried that no-one would want them. I never thought that they would do so well, although I have used them, they have a lot of sentimental value." Myolie also reveals that she has been out for a meal with Liza Wang and rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong for a Japanese Meal because they will begin filming in June for the modern sequel to "War of In-Laws", so Liza took them out to dinner to talk about the series. Asked what advice she has given them them, she says: "Liza told me to get plenty of rest ready to be yelled at! Just joking! (Are you worried that there will be more rumours with Bosco?) There will be rumours whoever I work with, so I will just treat it as promotion."

Bosco Wong Shows Off in the Starry Kitchen

Bosco Wong has always liked to cook and yesterday he recorded the latest episode of "Starry Kitchen", where he cooked a dish of Black Pepper Diced Steak. Bosco showed his skill with the knife and also with wok frying. It turns out that when he was in high school, he learned to cook by helping out at his godmother's roadside restaurant and he did not take any wages for his work because he saw it as a hobby.

As he is very interested in cooking, Bosco had thought about becoming a chef, but he is too afraid of the heat in the kitchen. If he retires from acting in the future, he will open a restaurant and design his own dishes. Asked if his girlfriend has tried his cooking, Bosco says: "No! (You have a lot of rumoured girlfriends?) I cooked for her a long time ago." There were rumours earlier that Bosco visited Myolie Wu's home to make her a risotto, but he evades the question saying: "I have just cooked for female friends!" On Mothers Day, did Bosco cook for his mother? He says: "I made her a 9-course feast with fish, prawns and crab!"

Fala Chen is Not Afraid of a Mistress Image

Fala Chen took part in an image styling promotion yesterday and as artistes often have to wear make up, she says that her skills are not bad and she has managed to do her make-up in just ten minutes and be ready to go out in just half an hour. She has also tried putting on eye make up in a car, but she advises against doing this when the car is in motion. When she was in America, she once crashed into the car in front because she was too busy looking in a mirror.

In new series "The Family Link", Fala plays a mistress character, but she is not worried about her image becoming fixed, because she has many other roles in series that are yet to be aired and she will do her best to prepare for her performances, so even if she cannot swim, she will still do the water scenes like she did in "Family".

As for the suggestions that this series has taken a lot of the storylines from American series "Desperate Housewives", she syas that if the ratings get up as far as "Desperate", then it would be good and she will not think too much about other things. The three 'housewives' in the show are all outstanding, especially Cecilia Yip. Fala points out that when she was in the Miss Chinese International Pageant, Cecilia was one of the judges and she played a big part in launching her current showbiz career, so she will always give her total support to Cecilia, even when there are criticisms about her overacting: "A lot of housewives are like this, she is a veteran actor, so she will know how to control her acting."

Kenny Wong Complains about Lack of Rumours

Kenny Wong wore a tuxedo yesterday as he rehearsed a dance scene for "Jewel's Splendor" at TVB City and he says that dancing proves a very difficult challenge for him: "If you give me half an hour, I will be much better." Also with the rumours of Ada Choi and Moses Chan having a secret rendezvous whilst filming in Thailand, Kenny laughs: "You don't need to believe these rumours! I was with them in the cave, but it is unfair that only they have rumours and not me!"
