'Dai Kai' Heads "Heart of Greed" Courtroom Promotion

TVB's hot drama "Heart of Greed" held a promotional event yesterday in a shopping centre, themed around 'family courtroom' as Ha Yu became the family's guardian angel, whilst Lee Si Kei became the judge. Under examination were Raymond Lam, Linda Chung, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung and Susanna Kwan, who were all found guilty and sentenced to a punishment. Raymond and Linda had to carry Fala Chen and Natalie Tong across the stone pah, whilst Bosco and Tavia had to eat bread covered in mustard. Susanna was punished by her screen son Lai Lok Yi and Michelle Yim who placed a pig basket over her and she joked: "I would have been better giving birth to a piece of char siu than to you!" The housewives in the crowd called out to Si Kei, who walked over to them, but they gave an even better performance as one of them burst into tears and cried: "Don't die so quickly!" Upon seeing this, Si Kei brought out a tissue and handed it to her saying: "Don't cry! Don't cry!"

The ratings results were also announced at yesterday's event and the scene on Wednesday where 'Dai Kai' died, the ratings reached 36 points, but on Thursday where Linda's character found a third party in her relationship with Raymond, the ratings rose to 39 points, making everyone very happy indeed and they celebrated with champagne. Responding to the ratings rising after Dai Kai's death, Si Kei said: "That is even better, there is now a push because when Sai Kai gets home, then it will be even better. The most hateful characters will be Tavia's family who end up moving into the Tong home, so the story will be very gripping and there will not be a dull moment." As for this series being her representative performance, she says: "Before I had said it was early days, but now I have reached the end, I can says that it is one of my better productions. (Everyone says you acted very well?) Acting well is a talent that I have from the heavens and my health keeps me in touch with the audiences. Without my health, I cannot go to work."

For Susanna's evil Sai Kai role, although she has been criticised by the netizens, she has not received any insults in real life and she smiles: "For everyone to be angry with Sai Kai means that they admire my performance and know that I am just acting, so they will not scold me." Susanna says that her interest in acting is getting greater and greater, but she does not want to play a villain any more, because this time she has already taken it to the extreme and she hopes that she can be a good person in the future or even a dumb character in a comedy.

Bosco had to suffer some indigestion as he had some bread with a thick layer of mustard on it. He laughed: "It is very perverse! All thanks to Tavia!"

Bosco has just returned from Thailand, where apart from filming for "Jewels Splendor" in Phuket, he also attended a TVBI promotion in Bangkok. Talking of the secret date that Ada Choi and Moses Chan had in a Phuket cave, Bosco says: "Originally I was to go there too, but I was too lazy and went to the spa instead, so I let them down. I am sorry about that and I do deeply believe that there is nothing between them. The cave was within the resort and is used to keep swallows and they just went to look around." Bosco describes their four day trip to Phuket as full of fear because there are millions of moths and flying ants there and they had to keep his room closed up. He says: "I hate little insects!" Asked what is more frightening - rumours or insects, he smiles: "They are both just as scary, rumours are part of my work and life, but insects cannot be part of my life."

With Dai Kai and Sai Kai becoming the focus of the show, Raymond says he regrets not having any scenes with them in this show. As for his character being a two-timing boyfriend,is he afraid of being hated by the viewers? He smiles: "I am prepared for it, so I don't go out much now. It will get better later, so I hope I will gain some points again." He to carry Fala across the stony path, but she protected her chest and he smiled: "I was lucky!" Linda was asked about her scene gaining more viewers than Dai Kai's death and she says she is very happy about this and she hopes that everyone will continue to watch. In real life, if her boyfriend had another lover, would she force him to tell her about the other person? She says she would because otherwise there would be a splinter in her heart. If he changed his ways then she would give him another chance.

Moses Chan and Ada Choi: We are Brothers!

Whilst filming for "Jewels Splendor" in Phuket earlier, Moses Chan and Ada Choi became linked in rumours after spending a couple of hours alone together in a cave. Attending an event for Estee Lauder yesterday, Moses joined models Xiong Dailin, Kathy Chow and Rosemary, who all presented him with a blown kiss. Talking about his secret rendezvous with Ada, Moses immediately adopted his 'Sai Bau' character from "Heart of Greed" and said: "Aiya! I am a good boy!" He clarifies that there were other people on the trip to the cave, including Kenn Wong and some crew: "Only Ada and I were photographed and I believe that the audience are clear about this, Ada and I are good brothers!" As for Bernice responding to this incident with: "As long as they are happy, it's okay." Moses just laughed.

Since the airing of "Heart", Moses's workload has increased greatly, but he has not put up his fee. Asked if he will buy himself a gift to reward himself, he says that he has considered buying property, saying he has already bought his own love nest!

Ada returned with the crew from Thailand ealrier and she also indicated the same story as Moses, saying there were other people there and she is not worried about being branded as the 'third party' and affecting her image: "This is all fictional gossip and you just laugh after reading it." On an interview with Cha Siu Yan, Ada jokes that she had a 'secret date' with Moses when they went for a big French meal. As for whether she is afraid of Bernice misundersanding, she says: "I don't want anyone to misunderstand."

Charmaine Learns from her Senior Jordan Chan

Jordan Chan and Charmaine Sheh were filming in TVB City's ancient street for "Steel Lips Silver Teeth" in a scene that tells of Jordan buying up all the oranges in the area and then selling them back to Charmaine at a high prices. Charmaine accuses him of breaking the Qing law by monopolising the market, but she will let him go if he can eat all the oranges himself because this means he is not breaking the law. This frightens Jordan. During filming, Jordan was making his lines too colloquial and the director had to ask him to be more refined with his lines.

Apart from Jordan and Charmaine, the scene also included Mimi Chu as Charmaine's mother and she was dressed up with a supersized chest, often covering herself up and saying to Jordan: "Be careful you don't bump into me!" Asked if he had bumped into Mimi, Jordan smiled: "I did have a bump, but I didn't feel if they were very bouncy! (Fake ones are bouncy?) I know, otherwise she is a 'g-lai'." Charmaine added at this point: "Yes, that is how she got me so healthy and beautiful!" Charmaine was asked if she was envious of Mimi's big chest and she laughed: "What is there to envy? However, it would be okay for me to put some fake breasts on, but it would be very hot." As for working with Jordan, she says he is very friendly and asked about him not being used to the classical lines, will she help him out? Charmaine says that Jordan is her senior, so she will be asking him for lessons instead!

When the reporters mentioned this to Jordan, he laughed: "How can she be like that! We have only worked half a day together and she is saying things like this! I know she is joking now." Jordan adds: "I am very angry at Michael Tse together because I forgot to bring my own chair today, but Michael left immediately, taking his own chair with him and did not even say goodbye, like he was someone big!" Jordan says he was joking though and it is great to work with an old friend, so he is very happy. As for the classical lines, he explains that it was only during rehearsals and he would not do that when they are filming properly.

In just a short time, he was sharing enthusiasts anecdotes with the store owner, who was glad to find a fellow car-lover, so he offered a discount, making Bowie very happy and exclaiming how worthwhile this trip had been.

On his two day trip to Taiwan, Bowie also visited the 101 Tower and although the weather in Taipei was a little rainy, this did not dampen his spirits and he was busy snapping away on his camera and even engaged in a snapping contest with the photographer. In order to shoot the greatness of the 101 tower, he was using some yoga-like poses to get the shot and people complimented his flexibility. He said modestly that this is thanks to filming so many ancient dramas.
