Suki Chui Steals the Limelight from Shirley Yeung with Low Cut Dress

Shirley Yeung and Suki Chui took part in a promotion for personal care products in Causeway Bay yesterday and recognised as having a great figure, Shirley already wore a very sexy outfit, but even she lost some of the limelight to Suki who wore a short white strap dress. Suki's bust seems to have become bigger since she took part in Miss Hong Kong and she admits that she has a fuller figure now, but this is a healthy look. She denies stealing her senior Shirley's limelight, saying that she has great beauty as well as an outstanding figure.

As Mothers Day draws near, the two girls were given a one minute sweet of the venue to get as many products as possible to take home as a gift to their mothers. However, neither of them went for the expensive items and just picked up some cheap things such as shampoo, toilet roll and toothbrushes. The reporters branded them both as very thrifty, but they both explained that they chose items that would be useful in everyday use. Asked what gifts they would be buying their mothers, Suki says that she will take her parents out for a plentiful meal and give a months salary to her mother to buy something nice for herself. Shirley says: "I want to give my mother a surprise, so I will not say just yet."

Aside from this, Shirley was photographed earlier by a newspaper out on a date with her boyfriend, but when she was asked about this, she did not want to talk about this. She explains this is just normal behaviour and she wants to keep it low profile, but maybe because her series is being aired, so she is being followed around. As for the troubles that they both passed through earlier, has this made their relationship even stronger? She says she does not want to talk about it and denies that the company is putting pressure on her.

Bernice Liu in Diamonds and Short Dress at Promotion

Bernice Liu wore a short dress and a sparkly diamond watch to attend a press event for Globe 7 VoIP in Central yesterday as she joined the directors to launch the service. She indicates that she has done all the preparations to avoid revealing herself and her watch is worth $178,000. She bought it as a reward for herself after working so hard earlier. She says: "I have always liked watches, so I have collected over ten different designs of watches."

This network allows people to pay just one flat fee to telephone any of 25 areas landline and mobile phones. For Bernice, whose family is spread throughout the world, then this product is good news because for just one price she can keep in touch with all her family. At the event, the company arranged for Bernice to call her brother in Beijing using the service, but Bernice became very wary about what they spoke about and included a lot of English in their conversation. Bernice denied that she was worried about making a public call and explained that her brother's Chinese is not that good, so if she spoke in Chinese, then she would have to repeat herself a few times before he understood, so she decided to speak in English instead. During the conversation, she revealed that she will be working in Beijing soon, so she will be visiting her brother then.

Bernice was full of praises for the new product and says: "The phone was very convenient and as long as you have a network, then you can use it and when you are abroad, you just have to be on the net and you can use it. As my family are all over, then we often have to use long distance calls to keep in touch and the monthly bill is quite high. My most expensive bill was over $6000 in a month. With this network phone, then it will save me a lot of money."

Patrick Tang Returns to TVB After 2 Year Hiatus

Two years ago, Patrick Tang left TVB to try his luck on other things, but recently he has returned to TVB as a salaried artiste. He says that the past two years has not been wasted and he has planted a seedling, from which he hopes to find harvest from after returning to TVB.

Patrick left the company because he felt that the new company could provide him with opportunities to make films and to become a singer again. However, the reality was very different and he never released any albums. Fortunately, when his contract expired, TVB made him an offer again. Patrick says: "TVB now offer a very varied career progression to its artistes and they will tailor your development with opportunities, popularity and stability, so I am very happy to return. (How do you feel?) The last two years were not bad, the series I filmed in the mainland were enjoyed by the viewers and I will treat it as sowing the seed. My goal now is to give more memorable roles to the audience."

Of course, with Patrick's return to the nest, he will have the chance to work with rumoured girlfriend Selena Li again. Asked if he asked her opinions, Patrick smiles: "All my friends gave me their opinions, such as Ekin Cheng, Sandy Lam and Ellesmere Choy. They all say that I have made the right choice and I feel very fortunate to have support from friends."

Nancy Wu Learns Legal Matters from Watching TV

Dressed as a lawyer for an earlier promotional event, Nancy Wu indicates that she has loved watching courtroom dramas since she was young because she could learn about legal affairs from watching and broaden her knowledge: "If you watch a normal series, you may not learn anything and just follow the story, but when you watch shows about the law, as well as the storyline, you can also learn about law and pick up lots of knowledge." However, Nancy has never thought about becoming a lawyer: "I have never considered becoming a lawyer, because they are very seriious and the atmosphere in court is very solemn. I find that quite horrific, because it would not suit me at all."

Esther Kwan Feeds her Daughter Birds Nest Every Day

Following her contract in 2004, Esther Kwan has signed another sponsorship deal with a bird's nest company. On the day of the shoot, she was arranged to work with a baby girl in order to tie in with her motherly image. Esther was very patient to play with the baby who often cried and asked if she has the same patience with her own daughter, she says: "Yes, I have studied it for very long to work out exactly why she is crying. (How about Nick?) He looks after safety more, so he will not let her get cold."

Esther has a habit of eating birds nest and her 15-month-old daughter has her share as well. "Children just need a small spoonful per day and this will help their immune system in the future." Asked if the sponsors have asked her to shoot ads as a family, she says: "Yes, but I will not accept. Children will become emotional and I don't know what I would do if we couldn't film."
