Not Confident of an Award - Tavia Yeung tries the Sexy Route

This year's TVB anniversary awards is on the horizon and every year, this period generates some conflict between the female stars around who will win the Best Female Artiste Award. However, for the generally low-key Tavia Yeung, she is apparently watching proceedings from the opposite bank and despite being nominated for her role in "Land of Wealth", she feels that her time has not come yet and says: "I will be happy whoever wins, I would like to receive more acceptance from the viewers, if I win an award, it will be a bonus. Although it is not very important to me, I will still use this as a goal to work towards because it helps my motivation. In the future, I would like to play more different characters, especially villains and disabled people and I hope to have a representative piece of my own."

Tavia has undergone some changes in her choice of clothing recently, going from a usually conservative look to a rather sexy image, especially after becoming spokesperson for a breast enhancement product. She says: "My target is for people to remember me for my acting and not for being sexy. My more risque look of late is because I want to look more mature and sophisticated, so I can give a more surprising and feminine feel and not be so tomboyish."

Shirley Yeung in Enticing Gold Bra

Since Ella Koon's incident, there has been some concern amid the female celebrities, but for Shirley Yeung, she seemed fearless as she attracted the crowds at a fashion event earlier, showing her chest and a gold bra.

Guest modelling alongside Ana R and Rosemary at Italian brand iBLUES Autumn/Winter event, Shirley's look appeared to be the sexiest of the evening as she wore a black seethrough top and a gold bra that peeped out from her top that had just arrived by air from Italy two hours previously.

The event was held at an open air restaurant in Pacific Place and many onlookers gathered around to watch and take photographs. During the interview, there were still many people trying to get close, but they were kept away by the PR staff and Shirley escaped safely. Asked if she was worried about being assaulted, she said: "I have done swimsuit shows before and this time I look more mature. I am not afraid, there is sufficient security at the venue. (Will you get even more sexy?) It depends on the event, beauty is more important." As Shirley left, many men chased alongside to try and take her photograph.

Shirley has been nominated this year for the Best Female Artiste and Best Female Supporting Actress at TVB's anniversary awards, but she was not in the prime position at the earlier lighting up ceremony. She says: "The position does not represent anything, my place was alright." she also says she is confident about winning the supporting actress award because her character was a disabled person and although the part was not very big, it was very memorable, so she is quite confident.

Nnadia Chan is Tour Guide in San Francisco

Nnadia Chan was invited to perform in Nevada recently and her cousin and her family from Los Angeles drove for over ten hours to watch her perform and then Nnadia joined them on a visit to San Francisco afterwards, spending time together and catching up. As this was the first time that Nnadia's cousin had been to San Francisco, she played the tour guide as they visited the sights, such as Fisherman's Wharf , where they were captivated by the beautiful scenery and Nnadia had great fun with her four-year old nephew.

Afterwards, Nnadia and her cousin's family drove another two hours out to see the vineyards at Napa Valley and they also took a ride on the famous Napa Valley Wine Train, taking in the great sights and enjoying some delicious food. At Napa Valley, they also came across a private airfield, where there were many interesting plans, so they went in to look around and take some photographs. Later, they found out that the planes were left over from the second world war and they have been adapted to take passengers and they are very exciting. Nnadia also met with a carnival, where she bought many souvenirs to take back to Hong Kong and her luggage was almost overweight!

Tracy Ip back on the Catwalk

Having hailed from the modelling world, it has been two years since Tracy Ip last walked down the catwalk, but she was invited to be a guest model for the Episode, Jessica and Episode Studio Autumn/Winter collection show yesterday. The organisers had arranged for her to appear first and also for her to stand in the centre during the curtain call and she says: "They all treated me very well and they let me go into hair later so I didn't have to wait and they also allowed a private space for me to get changed in. Of course I am happy to stand in the middle. They will also be sponsoring some of my clothes." She laughs that it is easy to get fat at TVB, so she has had to lose around six or seven pounds for this event. However, maybe she was too nervous and this led to a lack of a smile and she seemed like she was running away from someone on the stage.
