TVB's annual Po Leung Kuk Charity Gala show was held on Saturday at the Hong Kong Coliseum, with guests including Aaron Kwok, Kelly Chen, Hacken Lee, Andy Hui, Kevin Cheng, Grasshopper and Twins. Lau Ka Cheung's new proteges Joyce Cheng and Jacky Heung joined with Master Lau himself to sing the evening's theme song "Everything Comes from Love". There were many fans at the show to support the stars and Twins' fans stood out in particular, making neon signs to support Gillian Chung with her recent trauma, saying "No matter what happens, we will still support Twins!".

When Twins came onto the stage, MC Lydia Shum encouraged them to be strong and she also asked Gillian if she had felt the support from everyone during these difficult times. Gillian responded that she has felt the support from everyone, especially Charlene. On hearing this, Charlene laughed and said: "I haven't done anything really, I just took her to dinner and told her jokes." At the after show party, they were asked if they had seen the encouraging banner from the fans and were they touched and they replied that they felt that the fans had gradually grown up and they never thought that they would do something like this, so they are extremely touched. These signs are not cheap, costing several hundred dollars per character, so the whole message would have cost a few thousand dollars. This shocked the girls as they exclaimed: "Wow! That is expensive."

Andy appeared on stage alongside unsuccessful Miss Hong Kong contestant Suki Tsui in a wire dance routine, where the two had plenty of bodily contact as Andy placed his hand on her waist and thigh and Suki almost kissed Andy. She said that they had only one day to rehearse the act and at first she was a little afraid of heights, but she was fine after getting used to it. As for her close contact with Andy, did she feel embarrassed? She says she did not think much about these things: "I didn't feel it at all, maybe I was too nervous and I had sweaty palms before going on stage as I just kept thinking about my next dance move and nothing else." But she nearly kissed Andy? She says: "No, it was a near miss. If I did, then there would be a lipstick mark on his face. (Have you warned your boyfriend about this?) I have mentioned it a little, but this is all about work." There are rumours that she will be getting married to her boyfriend soon, but she says that if this is true, she will let everyone know. This is unlikely for the short term though as she has just signed with TVB as an artiste. Asked if he felt he had a lucky break, Andy says that this was arranged by the choreographer and he was just told what to do. He says that being suspended in mid-air and having to remember his lyrics and dance steps, he did not have time to think about anything else.

Bernice Liu took part in a promotional event for Lipton yesterday, where she led the audience in a demonstration of fifteen yoga stances. Bernice's best stance was the 'skating' and the single legged pose. Although she did very well, she has been busy filming lately and she has not had a good night's sleep for five days and therefore has not had any time to practice. As you have to practise Yoga regularly, she has been stretching herself in between takes with some simple exercises and she laughs that to have the chance to do some proper yoga makes her very excited.

With recent magazine reports that Moses Chan has been bombarding her with phone calls to try and win back her love and that he has been seeking her out in the studios, but she has not taken any notice of him and being very cold to him and further reports that her parents don't like Moses because he is not rich, Bernice says that she does not need to take any notice of these rumours. She says frankly that the reports make her very unhappy, because they involve her parents and she needs her parents to console her. As her parents often join her on set, then they know many artistes quite well and when asked if they like Moses, Bernice laughs that her parents like all her colleagues. As for them disliking Moses because of his lack of money, Bernice feels that in life money just comes and goes.

Also at the event were Ron Ng and newcomer Nicky Hung, who demonstrated Yoga Active Dance. Ron says this is the first time he has done a dance that involved Yoga moves and laughs that he is not built for Yoga because he cannot put his foot behind his head. He explains this is because he is not very flexible and laughs that he has stiff ligaments, but he can do the splits.

It was Ron's 27th birthday on 2nd September and asked how he spent it, he says that he had to work on that day, but a group of colleagues celebrated with him in what was a rather short birthday. He laughs: "That night, there was Michael Tao, Sammul Chan, Power Chan and Lee Ka Sing. Sammul announced that the next scene was 'Ron's birthday' and we spent about seven or eight minutes eating the cake before we continued filming." As they were filming in a male changing room scene, there were no girls around then. As for whether he has celebrated with rumoured girlfriend Ella Koon, Ron says directly that he hasn't.

Nancy Wu joined Ander Jen, Lee Chi Yan and Kanin Ngo as judges at a family talent show and Nancy was very captivated by the children and when asked if she likes kids, she says openly: "Yes, but children mature very quickly in this day and age and from a young age, they are full of swear words and flirting with the girls. I hope that children in the future will not be like this."

Asked if she has plans to have children of her own, she says: "The fortune teller says I will have a maximum of four children in this life and I don't believe that there will be a generation gap if there are too many years between you and the children, so I hope to get married at 30 and have children at 35 at the latest." Talking of her return to singledom after her split with Deep Ng, she says that she understands that these things are down to fate and she has no new pursuits as yet, so she is putting her work first.
